Using Maintenance Mode Plugin

You've got your WordPress site setup. That's great!

Now as time goes at some point you decide to apply some updates to the site. The ones that require not only the text to be changed. And there's always *this little thing* that gets the site down or brakes the layout.

Of course your loyal visitors should not see such stuff. There is also a possibility of loosing high search engine ratings if a search bot stumbles upon a broken page.

You can manually place a splash screen till the issue is fixed. This option is quite a pain, isn't it?

Maintenance Mode plugin is exactly what is needed in such case. At the moment the latest available version of this plugin is 4.3.
